New Feature: Create Your Own Templates

Today we are launching the biggest and most asked-for feature. We don't want to make it a big deal, but low-key – it's huge. Starting today, users can create and fully customize medical templates across any specialty.

Here's a quick guide on how you can get started right away:

1. Type / as you would to choose a template, pick the New Template option
2. Give your template a name (e.g. My Custom SOAP Note)
3. Create or select a type of note (e.g. SOAP Note, ENT Consult Letter)
4. Create or select headings for your template (e.g. Subjective, Objective, Assessment, Plan)
5. Provide additional instructions (e.g. include patient will be seen for follow-up in 2 weeks in the plan section)

Some awesome details

We've made this feature work for you instead of the other way around. That's why you can do things like drag the order of your headings, create new headings and note types, and ultimately work the way you want. Our additional instructions give you the option to provide as much or as little details as you see fit.

Want your note to hallucinate more? Less? Be written in French? Automatically generate a patient handout at the end? Generate both a consult letter and a disability form? Rhyme in Shakespearean prose? Just try it, nothing is off the table.

No matter what the use case, you can set up your instructions exactly to your specifications and reuse the template each time. You can even go back and edit the template to your liking in order to fine-tune it.
